Reviews and Ratings
The hotel room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with the basics we needed, but it was ridiculously hot, and the pillows and bed were very uncomfortable. The service was incredible, although the staff seemed very tired and were not apologetic. The location was on the outskirts of town and needed some maintenance work, but it was easy to find on the main road despite some flooding and potholes. The dining experience was disappointing with only basic breakfast offerings. The hotel facilities were maintained, but the outdated rooms lacked modern amenities like USB charging ports.
I was pleasantly surprised by the room size, which was larger than expected compared to other hotels I've stayed at. The room was clean, comfortable, and met the usual Travel Lodge standards. However, I didn't realize there was no room service available during my stay. The service I received was efficient and excellent, especially during the group login process. The location, despite being in need of maintenance, did have easy access to food outlets, offering a peaceful environment with great amenities nearby. The dining experience, although lacking in options, was saved by the friendly staff and the ability to enjoy breakfast in an enclosed grass area at the rear of the hotel. Overall, the hotel provided a good value for money at £43 per night.
The hotel rooms were clean, fresh, and sported a modern look, although they provided a no-frills experience typical of Travelodges. The rooms were spacious enough to accommodate all of us comfortably, but the high room temperature and uncomfortable bedding were noticeable downsides. A suggestion was made for the addition of Wet Rooms to enhance comfort.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay with lovely views of the fields where playful horses and bunnies can be observed. The room was clean and had plenty of amenities, making for a restful night's sleep. The service was friendly and welcoming, with staff going out of their way to be helpful. The location, though peaceful, had some noise from traffic, but the surroundings offered convenient access to various fast-food outlets. The dining options were limited, but the hotel made up for it with available breakfast boxes. Overall, a decent value for money stay with friendly service and comfortable accommodations.
The hotel was really clean and tidy, with very helpful and friendly staff. However, the location, though giving easy access to Wales, was a bit challenging to find at night. The dining experience, despite the service being lovely and obliging, had some disappointing aspects. The facilities were good overall.
